My favourite books when I was a child were Matilda by Roald Dahl and Ballet Shoes by Noel Streatfield- both of which I still love to reread now. My copy of Ballet Shoes is literally falling apart.
I used to read a LOT, but those are the two I loved the most.
In 2nd grade, I liked the Babysitter's Club Little Sister books (By Ann. M. Martin.)
